Illinois Shows What Not to Do

There are a couple of articles I have been meaning to get to, but have been too busy to post. The first one from City Journal’s Steven Malanga details the poor state of Illinois when it comes to managing the state budget. It should come as no surprise to you that Democrats run things around here. As a result, the state is a mess with millions in unpaid bills and debt piling up faster than increased taxes can pay for it.
