Three Questions

Supporters of the President are closely watching events unfold at this point knowing that we are at a crossroads. AC sums it up for us in a timely fashion;

All the pieces are in place. Trump will either be remembered for all of time as the greatest leader in all of history, who went on to save the greatest nation in the world, against all odds, from the worst traitors the world has ever seen. Or he will be remembered as a leader who went all the way up to the finish line, and yet through betrayal by aides or defeat by the enemy, heart-breakingly failed to make it over the finish line and allowed the greatest, freest nation in the world to fall, probably more spectacularly than any nation in history ever has. There is no way to overemphasize what we are watching.

As I see it, our immediate future now comes down to how we answer three questions.

  1.  Does the President have the will to act?

    This is probably the easiest one to answer. We have four years of experience watching President Trump in action and we know him and his character. There is little doubt that the President not only has the will to act but that he wants to do so. It is in his nature to not give up and to fight for what he believes in and thinks is right.

  2. Does the President have the moral and legal foundation to act?

    Trump and his team have spent considerable time putting the legal foundation in place for him to do what needs to be done. The laws and executive orders are available for him to use as well as the President’s natural Constitutional authority. And morally, he has done everything possible to give the bad guys here the chance to repent, mend their ways and turn from the path of destruction. So far they have refused to do so, even knowing the damage they are doing to the country. So again with this one, we can answer in the affirmative. Legally and morally the President should be able to act to save the country.

  3. Does the President have the backing to act?

    This is the one we cannot know for certain. Are there enough patriots in the military, in intelligence, and in law enforcement to back up the President and allow him and his team to do what needs to be done? However popular, and the President is certainly very popular with the base and voters in general, he cannot act alone. He needs the support of the military and at least some of the intelligence people in government to clean house. We don’t know the answer to this one and we won’t know it until things shake out one way or the other. All we can do is be vigilant and pray for divine guidance. Keep your powder dry frens.
